August 2004 Below is information on two process changes brought on by the introduction of PeopleSoft Student Financials beginning Fall 2004. Previously certain fee remissions paid all but the dedicated fee rate. Because dedicated fees were a fixed value per credit hour, departments and students could calculate both the remittable and non-remittable portions of the awards. However, in SIS the fixed values have been replaced with percentages that approximate the fixed values of the past. 2008-09 Remit Values - rates less dedicated 2008-09 Non-Resident to Resident
These tables apply the percentages for each fee assessment type to arrive at
the per credit hour remission value. Likewise, non-resident fee reductions also are calculated based on percentages, thus they no longer are an exact calculation of out-of-state or in-state rates. These tables show the results of applying the percentages to the current
credit hour rates. IUPUI Student Financials |
